Dr. George Matosian is a highly accomplished dentist, dental educator, author and lecturer. With a reputation for providing exceptional quality dental care over the past 40 years since earning his dental degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Dr. George Matosian is dedicated as ever to remaining at the forefront of the field. A past faculty member at his alma mater, Co-Founder and Co-Director of the San Diego Odontic Seminar, and having served over 10 years on the Council on Peer Review of the San Diego County Dental Society, where he was chairman for two consecutive years, Dr. Matosian is well-respected within his field. Multiple time lecturer for the California Dental Association, and Southern California Dental Study Groups, Dr. Matosian is also published in the Journal of the California Dental Association, and has been honored as one of San Diego’s “Top Dentists” for over 10 consecutive years. Thoroughly versed in a comprehensive range of advanced dentistry services, Dr. Matosian welcomes the opportunity to provide you with first-rate oral care.

Joining Dr. Matosian, is his talented son, Dr. Alex Matosian. After completing his general dental training at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry as a Magna Cum Laude graduate, and selected member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society, Dr. Matosian when on to specialize in prosthodontics, earning his specialized certification at the University of California San Francisco. Published co-author on various articles in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, and Co-Director and Faculty member of the San Diego Odontic Seminar along with his father, Dr. Matosian also contributes his time and expertise as a lecturer for Southern California Dental Study Groups. As a native to his hometown in San Diego, Dr. Matosian is excited to be working here in beautiful La Mesa, and enjoys spending time with his loving wife and kids when he’s not at work.

Together with his father and brother, Dr. Michael J. Matosian contributes his meticulous and artistic touch to their dental practice. Since earning his bachelor’s in Graphic Design at Point Loma Nazarene University, Dr. Matosian completed a Dental Laboratory Technician Program, earning his Certified Dental Technician Certificate from the National Dental Laboratory Association in 2012. Further developing his unique skills, Dr. Matosian attended the University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry at the Center for Dental Esthetics, where he studied under the direction and mentorship of Dr. Ed McLaren, one of the world’s foremost and respected educators in the field of dental ceramics. As a certified Master Dental Ceramist, Dr. Matosian combines the artistry and the science of dentistry to create exquisite, customized dental prosthetics and restorations for patients. When he’s not busy at their on-site dental laboratory, Dr. Matosian loves to catch the waves on his surfboard.
